The CIBC Flexible Yield ETF (CAD-Hedged) is a new actively-managed exchange-traded fund (ETF) designed to help investors access global fixed income markets. This is a solution that manages volatility through tactical asset allocation and duration management.

Exposure to a Broad Fixed Income Universe

CIBC Flexible Yield ETF (CAD-Hedged) seeks to generate long-term total return and current income by investing in high-yielding debt and investment grade fixed income securities of issuers located anywhere in the world. The fund gains exposure to these types of securities by investing primarily in hedge class units of Renaissance Flexible Yield Fund, which is sub-advised by Doubleline Capital LP.The strategy features:

  • Tactical asset allocation Designed to capture opportunistic gains throughout the market cycle
  • Active duration management Helps to actively manage duration exposure within the portfolio to mitigate risk and capture opportunities in any interest-rate environment
  • Diversified sources of yield Access to a broader fixed income universe to help boost yields compared to traditional fixed income sectors
